Deep thought 💭 on Podcasts listening update

A while back I wrote about the podcasts I listen to. My time has been a little tight and I found myself getting more frustrated about the episodes that I could listen to. That combined with a number of podcasts winding down or ending (Hypercritical and Build & Analyze), my podcast listening is decidedly different.

• This American Life
• The Talk Show With John Gruber
• The New Disruptors
  
  I really like this podcast. The guests are interesting and the topic is one that I an very curious about.
• Slate’s Political Gabfest
  
  This was the first podcast that I subscribed to and I continue enjoying the political commentary. It is my only source of political news every week and I am fine with that.
• NPR: Planet Money Podcast
• Neutral
  
  I am not normally a car guy, but listening to these three discuss their dissatisfaction with cars or parts of car culture. Plus the image of John Siracusa in a car pantomiming “Alternate!” Is worth the listen for.
• Hundred Down
• Generational
• Freakonomics Radio
• Decode DC
  
  So I said Slate’s Political Gabfest was the only political commentary that I listen to, and I consider that accurate. Decode DC is much like Planet Money for politics.
• Enough — The Podcast
• 99% Invisible
  
  I am new to 99% Invisible and it is a great look at the invisible architecture that surrounds us. I find it intriguing and the host, Roman Mars, has a great radio voice.
• Slate’s Culture Gabfest
• Ping! Very Private Sonar Feed.
  
  The last one is a version of Huffduffer that is modified from rbugajewski’s fuck huff duff, without the swearing.
