I have been using Shaun Inman’s Unplayed to track the movies and books I consume, but with the Markdown files living on the server it can be a little bit of a pain to keep the lists current. On a hunch, I took the markdown files from my webserver and put them in my Dropbox. I copied the public URL and edited the code in index.php
to have the download version of the public Dropbox link, which involves switching the www in the url to dl, making https://www.dropbox.com/s/7krlv9q4vm19s6u/unfinished.markdown into https://dl.dropbox.com/s/7krlv9q4vm19s6u/unfinished.markdown so the code that references the 4 markdown files will be changed to:
Now, I can edit the files on any device that I have with me, including my iPhone and iPad and now I need to get caught up on my lists.
