Cycling Mennonite

My currently cycling hero had shown himself to be the boy wonder that I always knew he was.

Floyd Landis, for those who don’t know, had taken the lead in Paris-Nice. Apparently he hammered away at the competition in a crazy uphill sprint. The reports are saying that in the end he was like a sprinter’s lead-out man, moving like a freight train. He didn’t let Patxi Xabier Vila take his time to pull, prefering to hold the front. That’s an amazing show of strength.

It looks like the cycling mennonite might win Paris-Nice. That’s a good setup for the rest of the season.
