The Macbook is in the repair shop. I’m without my new toy. I am very sad right now…
It’s been giving me all sorts of problems. Random restarts, laggy harddrives… I’m hoping its going to be fixed soon.

Friday was a good day. The break in the crazy busy was very apparent. Monday should be a return to the “regularly scheduled programming.” Whew!
Today Esther and I went to go see “Little Miss Sunshine” which was a fabulously funny “movie about a family with nothing in common.” It was a great little flick and while I know it’s going to do horribly at the box office, I would highly recommend going to see it. It has Steve Carell who played a seriously funny part. A good netflix if you’re on that system.
After the movie, Esther and I came home via walmart and with some cotton candy, tool chest and other items in tow, started cleaning up the house. While on our vacation we came up with an acronym to describe how we would like to be: W.W.P.D.® No, it doesn’t stand for World Wide Police Department. It stands for What Would Peter Do. Peter is my dad and he has a very orderly existence. While we were at the lake house we decided that we wanted to emulate his orderly life and because of all the recent events in our lives we have not been able to implement the W.W.P.D.® system.
This afternoon changed that, I started by cleaning up the garage, which still had a lot of stuff from the trip tossed in the middle of the floor. It feels good to have a room that is very clean and organized and now all I have to do is convince my mother-in-law to adopt the W.W.P.D.® philosophy.
I think I’ll try and post some photos of it, we’ll see.
With my supervisor off on vacation, I have been crazy busy at work. I’ve been in at 8 and out by 7 so far this week. I think that it’s going to be more of that the rest of the week. I have a few very large projects on the block and probably won’t blog much for the rest of the week. I really want to write and tell all about the drama in the family and personal life, but it will have to wait.
Adios.
This is going to be extremely hard to write.
John, my father-in-law, died on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 4:05.
It was not expected and although he was battling cancer, it is believed to be unrelated.
I was going to post all about the bicycle trip, but currently that doesn’t seem appropriate.
Funeral planning is underway, I will post details that are appropriate.
