Holiday

It’s good to be santa… with Christmas coming and my parents arriving tomorrow… I’m as giddy as a kid on christmas eve (which it almost is.) I will write more later, but I just had to let you know.

Darwin: 1 ID: 0

I believe a certain song goes like this:
Na, na, na, na,
Na, na, na, na,
hey, hey, hey,
Goodbye.

A judge has ruled against intelligent design!
“We have concluded that it is not [science], and moreover that ID cannot uncouple itself from its creationist, and thus religious, antecedents,”

Cat snores

Dateline - My Bedroom
2:30 am.

What was that horrid noise? …
There it is again. …
Is that Esther snoring? …
No. …
Where is it coming from? …
It’s under the bed. …
If I were 5 it would be the boogie man. …
I’m not 5. …

Oh holy ****! …
That’s a cat snoring!
Damn cat. …

*Drift off to sleep again*

IM @ work

me: Do you not like the office “lounge”?
co-worker: um…NO
me: I feel for you.
co-worker: I can’t listen to this crap anymore
me: Do you need to come back here and get some work done?
co-worker: I don’t care about [Jane]’s ankles!
me: Oh come on!
co-worker: Nah, I’m fine. It’s just really annoying.
me: I care about [Jane]’s ankles
co-worker: And look how “familiar” all these professionals are being with Tiffany, a student!
me: That’s true… but you know they are AP
me: that’s the difference… they can’t date a student, where as you and I can ;) co-worker: well…I’ll get right to that
me: Infact… we should… we should both start dating Jenn… See what [boss] says.
co-worker: LOL
co-worker: I think her head would explode
me: Then what are we waiting for?
co-worker: hehe
me: I think it would be hard to explain to my wife that I’m dating a student…
co-worker: Most likely
co-worker: Ah…well, it makes sense. I probably would be if I were in that situation. And you’re such a dog, too.

Most Wonderful time…

So at work…

I have been sitting through “Advanced Connections” Customer Service training. Very rudimentary stuff. While fading in and out of semi-conscious states I have been thinking about work outside of my current job. There is not a lot of room for growth and I have been thinking more and more about the freelance stuff that I could be doing. Part of doing the freelance thing is getting my environment (at the home office) to be as creatively inspiring as possible.

Esther and I watched this show last night Small space, Big Style, on HGTV. I love this show. It is amazing how creative people can become when they are forced to live in a minimalist style. I am slowly working towards this. The thing that Esther and I noticed was that every one of these “small spaces” had huge budgets. Couples had custom cabinetry, very chic and modern coffee tables that fold up and such.

The question is… how do I achieve this zenith of haute couture minimalizim on a very minimalist budget?

Pat Robertson & Pie

Pat Robertson Says Pie Not Delicious

December 14, 2005 | Issue 41•50

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA—Televangelist Pat Robertson, who recently condemned the town of Dover, PA for accepting evolution and called for the assassination of leftist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, said during a Sunday broadcast of The 700 Club that pie is not delicious. “Pie is a corrupt and foul-tasting pastry-covered baked-fruit abomination that shall turn to ashes in the mouth of the misled eater,” Robertson said during his 11-minute anti-pie tirade. “The pious eat not the pie, knowing it an unclean thing, nor the crust, nor the filling. Get thee behind me, pie!” Stunned 700 Club viewer Melody Blaker of Houston told reporters that that the evangelist had “abandoned common sense.”
